A friend of mine used to be a weekend crewman for Bud Moore. They got caugh=
t with a false floor in the car, with coils of copper tubing between the fl=
oors for more gas capacity. Only got caught because the line chafed through=
and started leaking.

So, how cold does the fuel have to be in order to have any significant affe=
ct on volume?? I need to make 7.2 gallons of fuel go 75 minutes at Road Ame=
rica this weekend, where I typically burn a bit more than 1 gallon every 10=
minutes.? I could soft-pedal it to save some fuel, but there is some quick=
competition out there.
