Hi - I hope you get some good offers, but the other responses I've seen so=
far are more likely to pan out: British Frame and Engine, APTFast, TSImpor=
ted, etc.
I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that has the situation, but I have =
several partial sets - .020 over, .050 over from broken engines. The .050 o=
vers were from a TR6 running SCCA GT3 motor - the driver broke TWO pistons.=
In theory, you can get matching pistons for those sets from the manufactur=
ers, but good luck finging a job number or other info. that you could use t=
o get one or two pistons cut to complete a set. Especially, if the pistons =
are 20+ years old.
If you wind up getting a custom set, my advice is to spend some extra $$$ a=
nd get 8, that way you have a couple of spares for the next engine which wi=
ll be needed if/when you break a crank or chuck a rod.
Also, seems to me you should be looking at building a GT6 engine - it is mu=
ch more forgiving if you want to spin the engine fast, like more than 6000.=
Going for huge power is over-rated unless you just want to spend a lot of =
$$$.
Just sayin'.
