Hi All,
Thanks for the add! =C2=A0 Quick question: =C2=A0my =E2=80=9862 TR4 has the=
tall, vertical steering rack mounts, and they flex a bit more than I like.=
=C2=A0 (Rack is solid mounted with aluminum blocks). =C2=A0 Before I reinv=
ent the wheel, does anyone have a suggested method of stiffening these, whe=
re it won=E2=80=99t be an issue for access to anything else? =C2=A0=C2=A0
I was thinking of making some diagonals that went from one side to the othe=
r, using the existing rack mount holes, and an open hole already in the bas=
e of the vertical piers the rack bolts to. =C2=A0 This way, it=E2=80=99s re=
movable if need be, and gets rid of any torsional force- although sheer for=
ces would still be at the base of the piers.
Thanks for any suggestions!
