[Fot] 2.5l into a gt6- oil pan clearance?

Hello all.
If one were to drop a 2.5l into a GT6, is it best to modify the 2.5 oil pan
to clear the steering rack OR should a 2.0 oil pan be modified to clear the
crank throws?
