Whoops, Sorry, premature launch of response. I cannot comment on Ross, but for
the GT6, Our many year loyalty lies with Venolia. Fresh ugrades still on the
shelf for the next oversized upgrade.

Subject: [Fot] Ross Pistons?
I am building up a second (primary?) engine for the GT6. I have a set of
barely used Ross pistons that currently have a gapless top ring, a traditional
second ring and an oil ring (third). I will be installing new rings and honing
the block.
The pistons weigh about 40 grams less than the Venolia pistons I have
historically used with no troubles. Seems like the lighter weight should be a
plus, unless they are more prone to breakage . . .
I'm looking for feedback, positive or negative, with Ross pistons. I'm not
looking to throw money at new pistons, but hate to build up a motor and skimp
somewhere that will cost me down the road.
Anybody?
