Back in the 80's I had a machine shop (Bishop and Buell) do my engine work.
Their big thing was Formula Four racing... so tinkering on my TR4A motor (for
street race) was an odd, but fun change of pace for them.
I started putting parts together for my second motor back with them and one
part i brought them was a crank. i sought "better best option". They
machined it undersized, chromed it oversized and ground to standard. I never
used that crank, but I kept it all these years for a future rebuild.
what's your thoughts on that process? I think I spent $500 back then!
