See the original message from one of the other Tony's on the
list. He experienced a failure and is aware of 6 or 7 other failures.
Steering failure is not something I care to experience.
It sounds like going to full lock is not a great idea with
those. The only time I go to full lock is backing out of the garage
and I think I get tire interference before I hit the limit of the (stock) rack.
