Thank you very much for the nomination and seconds, guys. =C2=A0 As Tom men=
tioned I have been helping get Triumphs on track for a couple of years now =
by working with Jason Ostrowski=E2=80=99s Friendly Ghost Racing. =C2=A0 Jas=
on and I race together here in the Midwest with Midwestern Council and VSCD=
A. =C2=A0 I have raced a variety of vehicles over the years but currently o=
wn a 67 Barracuda fastback that I built and race in Group 6 and also race a=
65 Cheetah Roadster (for those at Road America a few weeks ago I was the b=
lue roadster #6 paddocked just down the way from the FOT camp). =C2=A0 I tr=
ailered Jason=E2=80=99s yellow GT6 to the Mitty last year at Road Atlanta a=
nd proudly served at crew chief for FGR that weekend. =C2=A0 That was my fi=
rst experience with FOT and I had a blast. =C2=A0 We shared my canopy with =
the Alexander clan and had a great time hanging out with them that weekend =

w.nsscc.org/files/rod_knock/RK2012Jun.pdf ) =C2=A0 =C2=A0 I have always bee=
n a guy that will try to do whatever I can to help a fellow racer get to th=
e track or get back on track if they have an issue. =C2=A0 Whether it be pa=
rts or an extra set of hands, I have been the guy in need too many times to=
not offer help to another racer when the tables are turned. =C2=A0 FOT mor=
e so than any other group of racers that I have been around perpetuates thi=
s same spirit and that was what drew me in. =C2=A0=20

As far as Triumphs go, in addition to designing and fabricating some parts =
for Jason=E2=80=99s yellow GT6, I helped get John Reed=E2=80=99s green GT6 =
back on track earlier this year after Jason bought it . =C2=A0 Unfortunatel=
y I also had to load it into my trailer after the second broken suspension =
episode of the weekend converted it to a three wheeler at Road America . =
=C2=A0 I will also be helping Jason and his dad with their Ambro project in=
the near future. =C2=A0 Finally, though I didn=E2=80=99t know his name unt=
il afterwards nor he mine, I was happy to be able to lead Peter on a very e=
ntertaining scavenger hunt through Sheboygan County , WI looking for the pa=
rts that got his TR8 back on track the next day at the ELVF. =C2=A0 It was =
great to watch him and Chris to impressively flog that awesome car around t=
he track. =C2=A0 Though I need another race car like I need another hole in=
my head, my experience with Friendly Ghost Racing and Friends of Triumph h=
as really made me want a Triumph project. =C2=A0 We have a bare GT6 chassis=
that I hope to find a Vitesse body for (I know =E2=80=93 good luck with th=
at). =C2=A0 I saw the Carl Swanson car at Road America a few years ago and =
fell in love with it. =C2=A0 We have a lot of uppity Alpha and Datsun guys =
here in the Midwest =E2=80=93 I would love nothing more than to beat up on =
them in 2.5 Trans Am / B Sedan competition in a Triumph. =C2=A0 In the mean=
time, I look forward to helping Jason with the prep and development of his =
vehicles and know that my inclusion on this list will help to that end. =C2=
=A0 I feel privileged to be a part of FOT and look forward to meeting more =
