I think the block is engineered similar to the Spitfire... Thought 1, but I don't think this is it. There is a threaded plug on the back of the block on the oil gallery. If you forget to reinstall it after cleaning the block the oil escapes easily and oil pressure goes away! Thought 2 since I had a similar Spitfire experience. Your oil pump is worn out, install a fresh one! Clark Clark W.
