I know this has been discussed, but I must have been asleep, so I apologize. As I understand it, if you want to put cam bearings in a 6 cylinder TR, you use Spitfire 1296 bearings (1 or 2 sets?). The block must be bored from 1.9680 - 1.9695. The bearing journals on the cam must be ground to fit the bearings. Doesn't this restrict the cam lift? What is the cam bearing ID compared to the stock setup with no bearing?
