As far as hand tools are concerned, I stay with my Craftsman, Snap-On, MAC etc, but I have discovered that electric tools such as grinders, Sawsalls, sanders and so forth are all made in China (even the name brands) and don't last very long. So my purchasing strategy is to buy the cheapest one knowing that I will have to buy another one when it breaks.
