Strombergs operate with a deeper jet level than we're used to with SUs.
Early TR6 carbs have a jet level of .080 below the bridge. Late TR6 carbs
use a jet level of .125 below the bridge. You should first drop the jets to
.125 for increased richness. Then try the XKE B1E needle.
