Mark,
FC engines are 1147 engines. Many parts are interchangable such as
crank, rods, timing gears & chains, (I think the main and rod caps)
but the block itself is different. The 1147 uses 11 head studs and
the 1300 uses 10 head studs. Head studs is the easiest (other than
serial number) way to tell the difference between the two engines.
Obviously the heads are totally different.
