Most of the time I'm pretty happy ignoring the US/China tool argument,
buying the cheap tools when I need something disposable or loosable or I'm
just feeling cheap.
I have a few sets of jack stands, all made in china, all steel. For my light
cars, alum. stands are certainly going to hold up. I wouldn't use them under
my truck though...
The one that annoys me most is once having a source for real Milton air line
couplers. The cheap ones just don't fit, and when they do, they leak. And I
don't have a local source for Milton anymore.
