I figure if you go to 14" you will create more tread heat without doubt and
maybe be handy on a cold day or wet but they will also take away from braking
effciency. I don't know the tread width difference but I expect it is smaller,
very important.

15" wheels, I feel, are at a competitive disadvantage to competitors on 14"
wheels.
Now that the Speedsters are made in a 14" rim size. It might be interesting
if Classic Motorsports did a vintage tire test like they did a few years
ago.
