Question for Spitfire racers. I seem to recall that 511538 is supposed to be
one of the better heads for these engines, and that might be borne out by the
fact that I have two such heads: one on the engine in my old autocross
Spitfire (ex-GP from the late 1960s), and one that came as a spare with the
car many years ago. Can anyone confirm that this is one of the better heads
for these engines? Also, what about the 514384 head -- any good? Any others?
I remember one of you telling me years ago about a 948 head; alas, those old
e-mails live only on a dead computer at the moment. :(
