As far as the "big enough for a mild race motor", the answer is
yes. However the top guys seem to run weber 45 DCOE's - I've got a
set on the shelf that I'm considering installing. In my non-mild
race motor, the 42's (really 40's inside) aren't quite big enough (I think).
