Geez, depending on the "period," my car is far more "period correct"! I
mean, the infamous Hardly Boys RaceSpit 4 has NO rollcage (just a fairly stout
bar), single-circuit brake system, original fuel tank (with trunk-mounted
Bendix fuel pump), etc., etc. ;)
That's one of many reasons why we decided NOT to go racing with what even
in 1983 was a long-abandoned race car. It would've cost too much even then
just to make it a legal "school" car, let alone competitive on any level of
Production racing....
