Bob-
I concur with the replies regarding the four way flasher...
Never, never, ever attempt to utilise that switch, it is for decoration only.?
Any attempt to even hover over that switch, or "heaven forbid" touch the
plastic wil let out the smoke!??I recall turning, the wheel, moving my hands
and getting the next purchase on the wheel to go around a corner just so my
fingers never even scared that switch into action.??
I once made the mistake of allowing another?Triumph owner to move a TR6 in the
drive.? You guessed it, threw that switch...took my several weeks to rewire
that incident...what was he thinking??
Seriously, give a thought to bypassing the switch completely as the turn
circuits utilise that switch as a sort of hub...kinda like going from San
Francisco to Miami.? Ya gotta go thru Chicago...and thats usually a disaster.
New Year...same old Lucas...

Subject: [Fot] 75 TR6 turn signals
I have issues with my turn signal (Shocking)! When indicating a turn in
either direction with the turn signal, both front and rear lights turn on and
stay on; they do not flash. I have checked the flasher unit and it functions
properly when tested with two bulbs in parallel across the battery. Before I
trouble shoot the turn signal in the column or start looking for issues in the
wiring I thought there might be someone out there who has already invented the
wheel.
Thanks
