I agree. Worth noting perhaps that the TR6 originally used "dowel bolts"
that had threads plus precision ground shanks so they could serve both as
locating dowels and clamping bolts. At least one LBC vendor is selling
ordinary bolts (with the usual undersize shanks) as replacements.
