About 15 years ago, I was talking with a neighbor and told him I had a
Bugeye Sprite and an MG Midget that I was planning to restore. He told me
that he had a Midget in his barn that his kids had destroyed and that I
could have it for parts if I wanted. When he brought it over on the forks
of his tractor, I saw that the kids had not only spray painted obscenities
all over the car, but had taken a splitting maul to it as well. The Prince
of Darkness must have struck once too often. I parted out the car and got
about $20 for the body at the recyclers. Still haven't gotten around to
either the Bugeye or the Midget, the Spitfire took priority.

Maybe he just didn't like the color of the MG? Or he doesn't like Ford
