All good ideas for implementing a cable throttle on the TR6 (and perhaps
others).
For the triple Webers, solid mounts are *not* the way to go. Been there,
tried
that, watched the motor modulate the Weber butterflies as it moved on the
motor mounts. A cable throttle isolates the Webers.
I just used the stock TR6 throttle, but moved the lever cam from the right
side
of the throttle shaft to the drivers side, inside the car. From there it
was easy to
plumb a Pegasus cable. The Pegasus cables are really nice, as they are
teflon lined and are relatively friction-free compared with the Jaguar
throttle cable
that I had used earlier.
