Thanks for all of the input. Interesting and worthwhile FoT thread. I have, close at hand, a certified welder talented in welding steel & alloy. My needs are limited, but often enough that a welder would be nice to have. Hobart or Miller is the right thing to do. Long term, I have two sons that will put a good unit to use, even if I dont use it much now. Now to go shopping. Thanks for all of the responses. Joe (A) |
