>OK - I'll bite. Explain prop syncro on a Ford Tri-motor. Modern planes have automatic synchronizers that adjust the RPM of the slave engine(s) to the master engine to eliminate the beat frequency, but the old Ford didn't. The pilot would have to fiddle with the RPMs and listen. John H. |
