Actually, I didn't do it and I haven't seen it. Burt's a friend, and he's
driven Peyote. I told him I'd kick in for an ad but I don't remember if I
ever even completed the transaction. I have a good memory, it's just short.
Which reminds me, I think I still owe uncle Jack some money. Bet he forgot
too.
It would be just like Burt to do something sly. I can't wait to see it.

Bill,
A hearty congratulations and a healthy handshake are due to you.
You have outdone yourself this time, and made the FOT proud.
I think we can expect some serious competition from the porch people
once word of this gets around.
I saw your note tue afternoon, and laughed myself to sleep .....
CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE!!!!!

While ole 'B. S.' LEVY was absent from ROAD AMERICA this past week end
(word
has it son, David, got married out in California), his new book, TOLY'S
GHOST,
was on sale at various vendors. The FOT ad looks GREAT, and those who
contributed to placing it can be proud. Lots of nice ads in that
section, including
Bill Babcock's featuring his TR3 based Junk Yard Dog, PEYOTE. When you
see
it, look for a tongue-in-cheek TR3 Classified Ad. Reads true to form,
and
don't tell anyone, but the telephone number listed is Porsche Club of
America. I
thought that was appropriate.
