Depends on your racing aims. If you want your car to be comfortable for
street as well as racing that might be fine, but "too soft for racing"
doesn't really make sense. For racing you want zero compliance, something
hard like Delrin or even a metal bearing joint (like the heim joints in
Peyote).

Has anyone seen the auction on eBay for suspension bushings from Quillers in
the UK? Polyurethane with a stainless steel sleeve, 70 to 90 shore
resiliency.   Is this material too soft for racing? The item # is
4634896539.
