I find large bribes work. My anniversary is always spent at the Monterey
Historics. Right within panic driving distance there are bauble shops that
can adjust to fit any circumstance (except a paucity of funds). There's no
Carmel in Portland, but there's Carl Greeves Jewelers. They'd be glad to
help you out.

I'll be there with my other half of 40 years this coming Sunday. Tried to
explain to her that watching all the Triumphs race, go to the Sat night
party at an old gas station and dress up like she did in high school was
one heck of a great celebration for forty years, better than a cruise! She
isn't buying my logic. Any suggestions??
