I never have met the guy, but he lives only a few blocks away. I know
he was racing at the Pittsburg Vintage Grand Prix about four years ago.
I also ran across his Morgan 4/4 here in town a while back. I don't
know its complete history, but it was mentioned in the recent Morgan
article in Classic Motorsports. That would be a fun car to bring back as
a vintage racer. Hallett is currently owned and run by the Stephens
family (mom, dad and two sons) - nice people and fellow racers. I don't
think Hallett suffers from some of the ills discussed in the recent
thread on "What Wrong With Vintage Racing".
