I swapped cams last year with the engine in the car. Dialing the cam in is
doable, although not all the comfortable! I had to remove the radiator, oil
cooler, bonnet, etc. Having the car on the lift made it tolerable.
I have seen Russ Moore dialing cams in on other people's cars in the paddock
more than once. ;-)
