For as fast as the little bugger is, Peyote has a pretty mild engine. It
likes enduros just fine. If I make it (and I'm certainly trying to) I'm
going to be on the track every possible moment. Being a direct marketing guy
I always slice things into cost per. Since this is going to be expensive,
I'm going to have to get in a lot of laps to get my cost per lap to a
manageable level.

Group,
The deadline for the discounted entry fee is January 31. This Monday.
$345 gets you into the MG/Triumph Group.
Add $125 if you want to race in the HSR Dash race.
Add $195 if you want to run in the Endure Race.
Historically, HSR has been more liberal in permitting a higher degree of
modification of cars than most other organizations.
However in the last year of so they have started separating the most highly
prepared cars from the rest of us.
I plan to run the MG/TR race and the HSR Enduro. Many of the screaming fast
cars either don't run the enduro or poop out.
And rain, oh blessed rain, is a great equalizer. Anyway you slice it, the
Enduro is just a terrific one hour drive.
But I don't want any of you guys to sign up for it. I need the trophy. You
all just watch.
I'll check to see if the MG/TR group has its own practice session.
