Take the Accusump out of the car. Let the air out of the back (remove the
valve stem). Take a wooden dowel and push the piston all the way to the
back -- enough to fill it with oil to capacity (2 or 3 qts depending on its
size) -- and replace the valve stem. Fill with oil, then close the outlet
valve. Pump air into the back to your desired pressure, or perhaps a bit
less (I run ~80 lbs, so I pressurize it to ~60). Reinstall it, attach the
hoses, then open it up and start the car.

I take the outlet valve off to pour the oil in -- mostly because mine has an
angled fitting so I need to remove it to dowel the piston back, but it also
makes it easier to pour the oil in.
