Mr. Canterbury: Bob's story and mine illustrate the kindness extended by officers to others who share the same interest in old British sports cars. I felt, as Bob probably did, that others on the list might enjoy the story. Obviously I was wrong. My story happened exactly as I wrote it, and I have no reason to doubt Bob's. I believe him. My story may have some literary embellishments, but it is certainly not bullshit. If you want to leave, fine, but don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. John R. Herrera |
