I hate to thrash through this again but JIC ... there are two different
varieties of Bon Ami, "cleaning powder" and "cleanser".  The "cleaning
powder" is safe for use on glass, and is almost impossible to find in stores
today.  (I found some at OSH but I don't know if they still carry it.)  The
"cleanser" is not safe for glass (says so on the back of the can), and is
available at any supermarket.
