Take them to a jeweler or watchmaker and get them to buff them. They use a
big high speed buffing wheel with fine rouge to polish scratches out of
plastic watch crystals and the like. They usually do it for free, takes
about two minutes. I've also brought them my Lexan face shield. It helps
if you've bought your significant other some significant baubles there.

Subject: Recommendations Wanted - Cleaning Oxidization from Plastic Tail
Lights
I have tried both a very mild rubbing compound and chrome cleaner,
neither of which remove enough of the oxidation layer to restore the red,
yellow,
or white to reasonably close to the GT6's original colors. Has anyone
found
something that works for removing the oxidation or is it better to just
find a
good set of replacement lenses for the (1973) GT6?
Thanks, Cary
