It's hard to believe everything that you hear and sort out what's good
information and what's hype and bogus or motivated for whatever reason. I've
heard that more people die from the common cold and or flu every year than
from SARS, yet it seems so easily spread. Perhaps one of our Health Care
Professionals can enlighten the rest of us with a better point of view than
the desperate for a story media.
I for one agree with Bill and am going regardless. I'll drive faster thru
Toronto and past the airport (if one can really try to drive much faster than
the locals do). My company is a Canadian and Toronto based one who employ many
nationalities at their plants. I haven't heard of anyone there getting SARS
just because they live close to Toronto.

Has anyone done a recent survey to determine if this SARS thing is going to
hurt participation? I think I saw someplace that the Brits are not coming
after all. I know in my case, we were going to meet another family up there
and combine the event with a family vacation, but they have backed out due
to health concerns. They have a youngster who is allergic to everything so
I
understand, but it makes me wonder about how many others are no longer
planning on coming.
