Why not just use an original Payen head gasket? - OK up to +.040". At
+0.060" the inner fire ring can touch the piston crown.
To improve sealing, polish off the lacquer with superfine Scotchbrite, then
apply Wellseal or perhaps the magic GasketWorks sealant.
