Last year I was wrenching on one of the Mazda Rx2s in the VSCDA. The car's brakes were fading during the race but felt good once they cooled down. The car had a front ferring which was blocking all air to the front brake calipers, causing the hot brakes to boil the fluid. We took the ferring off and all the brake loss problems went away.
