Canadian Car Purchase

Has anyone had any experience purchasing a "race car" from Canada and
importing it to the U.S.

 

Is there specific documentation needed for such a transaction and what are
the pitfalls? What are the duties/taxes involved with such a transaction?
Any info, leads or sources for additional information would be very much be
appreciated.
