For those who have an interest in events at Blackhawk Farms (WI) and

Well, as you were not at the BVR Business meeting you missed the big
announcement tonight that Ray Irwin has bought Heartland Park in Topeka. The
deal was finalized on Wednesday. Ray and Nancy are moving to Topeka.
Things will remain the same at Blackhawk and Eugene Krause is taking over
the management of Blackhawk. Auto Concepts is staying at Blackhawk. The
concession has also changed hands once again and the new person is working
to bring back some of the things we missed last year. (Veggie wraps, ect)
The track has been resurfaced and the concrete corners are gone. they have
widened the entrance to the willows, the pit lane has been lengthened moving
it back toward seven. The roads in the track paddock to 1, 3, and tech have
all been paved. The dip at drivers left toward the air strip at 6 has been
flattened as well as the one at seven.
