Amici,
About a month ago I won 2 16MM videos of SCCA races from the 60's on eBay.
The bidding was kinda steep, but because I was afraid these would disappear
into someones collection, I paid the price. I emailed the list to gauge
interest. I've since had both films copied onto one VHS tape. I've only
looked at it once when I picked it up this morning. The Group 44 TR4 is
prominently displayed in the second tape, along with another dark TR4 #12
crewed by guys in cowboy hats. The first tape was marked Race at Cumberland.
It is mostly Bugeye Sprites racing against each other. The track has a nasty
looking wall made out of metal siding on one side. The other tape, the one
with the TR4's and all the other cars is at an airport in a hilly area. Hay
bales abound and spectators fill a hillside. Being the young pup that I am,
I have no idea where this might be. I'm hoping that those that want copies
will know more. Total time is around 20 minutes. I've got over $200 in the
tapes and copying, and each copy will cost around $5 with at least 10.
Obviously the more I sell get's the fixed cost down. I'll do FOT at $15 +
shipping, assuming enough people want the tape. So who wants one?
