This question appeared recently on the Spitfires list regarding GT6
carburetion:
====================================================================================
I know Kastner used the stock strombergs when he did
the 145bhp and the 165bhp engines. WHy didn't he try
the SU's. Plus, why not triple su's or triple
strombergs like my brother put on his TR6?

While this may well have had to do with the SCCA rules of the time, it's
a question I think Kas is uniquely qualified to answer. <smile>
Cheers, all.
