I bought a circle track racing seat for Peyote, cut the bottom out and
just used the sides and back. The seats are cheap, well made, and light.
Don't recall who makes them but you see them everywhere--they're those all
welded aluminum ones with a snapped on cover.

Subject: Driver seats & restraints
The situation with restriants seems even more important in vintage
where
many of us are using older seats that do not provide very good back or
lateral support. Plus the roll cages themselves to provide the proper
placement of the safety harness above the shoulder.
I have started looking around for a better seat that help provides
placement for the harness, provides better support, will endure being
expose
to the elements in an open car, is comfortable, and looks okay in a
vinatage
Triumph ..any suggestions...6' 2" and 225 pounds...
Like Bill i have always tighten my upper harness. Mordy, with his
training in the medical field, raised a point that no one has ever
brought to
my attention. Every driver school that i have at encouraged us to
tighten
down the upper shoulder belts. Thanks Mordy...
