Dr. Bill Colom, wonderful car, nice guy. Very fast and agressive driver.
Car hasnt raced in years. I broke a front hub at Watkins Glen one year and
this guy just reached into the trailer and handed me one that not only looked
brand new but was painted, had a freshly turned disc on it and a fully greased
set of bearings. Taped and wrapped up, ready to go. Glen and I put it on the
car, Glen beat out the fender that had been damaged when the wheel came out
(yikes!) and we finished the weekend. Dr. Bill just said: mail it back to me
sometime....and we did.
I dont know if the rear axle had been modified but maybe a direct contact is
possible.
Call Bill Dolson, the principle of race-cars.com, he's a nice guy and will no
doubt put you in contact with Colom unless the good Dr. is hiding out from the
law for some reason (joke, I hope :). If you do talk to him, tell him Mike
zez Hi.
