John, The GT6's are very much in danger of corner breakage. The front
spindles break at the top of the trunnion stem and the rear hubs break at the
step where the inner bearing presses on to the hub. I've experienced both in
the last ten years! Fixing the latter is discussed on GT6.com issue three or
four and I don't yet have a solution for the former. I recollect hearing
about threading the grease stem on the front spindle and bolting it but can't
confirm if this helps.
Definitely inspect all four corners of the GT6.
