The TR7 box, or components from it (esp the mainshaft!) is much more reliable. You can get a suitable input shaft from John Kipping in the UK. I'm running a mix-and-match box right now - GT6 plus gears, later mainshaft, different input shaft and reverse... my problem used to be the needle bearing on the mainshaft nose, and this seems to have cleared that up. |
