My race car is a TR4A solid axel using stock 4A springs and riser blocks (we called them lowering blocks on my 49 FORD). I made bronze bushings for all suspension bushings front and rear also 2" longer shackles to lower the car 1". The bronze bushings appear to reduce slide flex of the rear springs. Lever shocks are used with 40 wt oil and TR6 sway bars front and rear. The car has neutral handling and allows me to go faster than I thought I could. Paul Smock #190 |
