I actually put my name on the Spitfire mail list, and one of the main topics there is currently engine output. Someone with a late model Spit claims to have a 130 hp motor that passes California smog. Seems a bit far-fetched to me. Anyway, the topic has gotten me thinking about something I have been wondering about off and on during recent years. It owuld be nice to have an engine dyno in my shop. Think it would be possible to actually build one that could handle maybe up to 200 horsepower? mjb. |
