Hello new Amici Triumphi!!!!
The list is exploding...since there are no rules, no dues, no meetings, no
officers, no backbiting....IT DOESNT MATTER!!!!
When we get to BRIC we need to discuss (although there will be no meeting)
about another run of decals. I will turn this honor to anyone who like to
do it. I do have a few left of the decals and I will check the stock and
report back.

Thank you for you invite to the group. I have been involved with
English
cars for over 30 years. I sure do wish I had some of the cars now I
couldnt give away then. Would you beleive that at one time I owned
3
Peerless GT coupes. My current TR 3 vintage race car I traded a
Toyota
pickup for about 15 years ago. The import shop I worked at sold it
to a
friend of ours that set it up to autocross. He then tried his hand
at
regional racing. Got tired of rear main seal problems and parked
it. When
I traded for the car the roll cage was on the floor and I could'nt
drive
it. I had actually owned the car for about 10 years and never drove
it. I
was involved in SCCA national racing and we went to the vintage race
on
occasion. I would let my mechanic drive the car and I would crew
for him.
The 3 is about as it raced in the 60's. Mild engine with a home
brew minor
port on the cyl head. The killer engine is on the shelf and
hopfefully I
will have enough time and $ to get it together. Has stock TR 6 od
gear
box, 4.11 rear with a Detroit locker. I am currently in the process
of
installing an 10 gal ATL fuel cell with aeroquippe lines. I also
have a GT
4 Toyota Corolla TE 37 sedan I am planning to race in SCCA
Nationals. I
ran out of time and $ to finish it for this seasons nationals but I
hope to
have the old tub car alongside the new tube frame for the start of
next
year. I cannot give you any particular engine specs on my car,
because I
have'nt had to do anything other than service the brakes. I can
tell you
that a Jaguar coupe out of Michigan and a 57 Corvette Roadster did
not like
the results the last two times the TR was at Road America. I am
trying to
get the car ready for this years July race but since I am a national
licensed tech inspector I have committed to the National Race at IRP
two
race weekends back to back are tough to make. I also have two
street TR
3's I am planning to do frame up's on in the near future. I have a
misc
collection of used items, mainly mechanical with some body parts. I
basically keep them for my own consumption. I used to actively sell
these
items but now I cry when I hear what those parts are now going for.
SUPPORT ROAD RACING-WORK A RACE. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE INVITE
TO JOIN
YOUR GROUP
