If you are concerned about butchering the car, you can buy a custom blatter
and the guts from fuel cell makers, and put it IN the original fuel tank.
That is what we did on my TR3. I don't believe it was all that more
expensive, the car looks stock, and the capacity is the same.
I use the Butler seat as well. At my size, I used to get thrown around in the
stock seat like crazy. I love the Butler seat. Have not been hugged so hard
since my honeymoon.
We've got Webbers on the shelf. The ThunderBolt raced in England in the late
1960s and early 1970s with Webbers. Mike Belfer never believed in them. Any
advantage you obtain with Webers is watered down by the fact that they 'do not
really belong on the car.' You get a lot of, "Oh well, yeah sure, you got
Webbers!"
