Hi all,
One thing to look out for with longer shackles: the rear U-joint may hit the
top of the driveshaft tunnel at full bump travel. This happened on my TR4
on a road trip. There was two of us and all our stuff in the car, but it
has the stock shackles. We jounced over a railroad crossing hard enough to
compress the rubber axle bumpers and tap the U-joint on the tunnel.
The car is an autocrosser, with front & rear Addco swaybars in urethane
bushings. (Among other things...)
